Start Where You Are

(Even if you’re still catching your breath)

Four years ago, I watched my dream business go under.
A soul-led wellness company—retreats, events, community—that I had poured myself into for seven years.
Gone.

It didn’t happen overnight.
Like many of business owners through the pandemic, I pivoted. Then pivoted again.
Until I was spinning so fast that the thing I loved just… disappeared beneath me.

And here’s the part I’ve never said out loud before:
That even after the ship went down, I kept paddling.
New home. New town. New business idea.
Freelance work. Digital offers. Coaching.
All while raising a tiny human and trying to make magic out of survival.

We moved west and built the house I once pinned on vision boards—
Four doors from the forest. A few blocks from the water.
And there, in the stillness of a picture-perfect life, I met the sadness I had been trying to outrun.

I thought I was chasing success.
Turns out I was running from grief.
From anxiety I didn’t recognize as anxiety.
From the truth that I had been measuring my worth in productivity since I was fifteen.

And maybe you’ve been doing something similar, too.

Maybe you’ve looked like you had it all together while silently holding your breath.
Maybe you’ve checked every box on your to-do list and still feel like something’s missing.
Maybe, like me, you’re realizing that the grind was never the goal—connection was.

Here’s what I want you to know:

You’re not behind.
You’re not broken.
You don’t need to be “better” to begin.

You can start where you are.
Especially if where you are is tender.
Especially if where you are is unsure.
Especially if you don’t know what’s next.

There is quiet courage in starting again—not with a bang, but with a breath.

Over the past two years, I’ve let the noise fall away.
I scaled back my work, not out of failure, but out of love.
I chose to mother—my daughter, yes, but also my own nervous system.
I learned how to come home to myself. To pause. To be present enough to feel the fullness of now.

And from that place, the real work began.

Not fixing.
Remembering.

I remembered what I’m here for:
To hold space for your healing, just like I’ve held space for mine.
To guide you back to the wisdom that lives in your body.
To remind you that it’s okay to stop performing and start listening.

If that speaks to you, I’ve made something to help.

It’s called The Sacred Pause—a 7-day audio journey designed to help you slow down, reconnect, and hear yourself again.
Not in the way the world demands—quick fixes and perfect answers—but in the way your soul actually needs.
Through breath, presence, and sacred stillness.

You can begin with Day 1 for free. Just a few minutes to return to yourself.

Because healing isn’t about who you become when you get it all right.
It’s about who you are when you finally stop running.

You can start over as many times as you need.
You can begin before you feel ready.
You can choose softness instead of striving.
You can start right here.

Even if you’re still figuring it out.
Even if you’re still grieving something you thought you were over.
Even if you’re scared.

Start where you are.
And I’ll meet you there.
